When did how good you look, start to be more important than the product you represent?

Looks and fame. That is all you ever hear about these days. When a new singer or actor comes out, the first thing ANYONE says about that person is "oh shes hot" or "that's one sexy man right there." But you always hear the comments about the what they actually DO, last. What really sucks about this dilemma, is that, if Janis Joplin was alive in this generation with her voice? She would just be little Janet at the coffee shop on Tuesday open mic night.

Janis Joplin had the voice of the bluest angel ever. All that joy, all that pain, just poured out of her mouth when she sang. But the reason she wouldn't have been popular today? The woman wasn't the prettiest.  She looked like she fell out of the ugly tree, and hit a few branches on the way down. But when you HEARD her, she was the most beautiful soul alive. janis joplin janis lyn joplin born january 19 1943 port arthur texas ...

Now today, if you listen to any popular music, it is all image first, music second. There is no SOUL to the music. Every song is just an advertisement for some product that has nothing to do with music.

When MTV came out in 1981, music videos were rapidly becoming the main medium for you to get your music out there. The videos used to represent the meaning of the song. Or an allegory to promote a message to people with whatever you wanted to say.  Over the course of a few years, companies have been using that medium for advertising their product in music videos, and making the actual substance of the message in the song to disappear. And as the music became worse, the artists have been more "pretty", or "sellable" rather. the beyonce cell phone samsung unveiled the new limited edition b ...

I just wish that music could return to being blind. I wish that when you see a new artist, the first thing you say is " oh, he or she has a great voice, it gives me chills." not "oh man, that new singer is hot, I wanna put my dick inside her. "

Stop being so shallow people. Listen to music that makes you feel. Not what makes you want to buy a cellphone.

Comic book world, and race. Why it shouldnt fucking matter.

So everyone knows that there is a new Fantastic Four movie coming out. What people might not know, is that the guy playing Johnny Storm, AKA The Human Torch, is being played by Michael B. Jordan. Who is black. The internet trolls have stirred up so much shit, that there is shit on top of shit.
You can read about the debacle here.

I mean seriously, who the fuck cares that hes black? Nick Fury went from white to black, and even in the movies, Samuel L. Jackson did a way better job than David Hasselhoff. From what I hear they are explaining his blackness in the movie as someone who is adopted. Which is fine, but should you really have to explain that? Is race still such an issue that you have to explain to other people why your son is another color than you? That is what I love about the time we live in. There are families consisting of many colors. White fathers raising black sons, Black fathers raising white sons, or white daughters or black daughters, or any other race out there. It really shouldn't matter at all, as long as there is peace and love in that family.

So Human Torch is black? That's cool. I really don't care.  All I care about is, will the movie be good? My nerd rage at this movie isn't about race, is just about Fox creating another comic movie that isn't the X-men, so its probably going to suck. Not saying that all X-men movies were great, but the only Fox comic book movies that have been good, have been the X-men movies. No, the reason I think this movie might suck, is because the writing is always out there, like they have this source material full of a huge world of history and characters, but then the studios want to make changes. Now I'm not talking about the race change, thats ok. I'm talking about yeah they make the Human Torch black, but instead of fire, he shoots out hot pink plasma furry unicorn piss. Kind of like what they did with Deadpool in the Wolverine Origins movie.

So in closing, who the fuck cares about race. Care about the quality of the character. Care about the journey of the character. Care about the quality of the movie. Race will not change that. But shit writing will, as will shit acting.

So Michael B. Jordan?  Good Luck. I'll be watching, Ive been a fan since Friday Night Lights, and Chronicle. So I'm expecting good things.

South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut. (the title you never paid attention to.)

Check it out. The title is a DICK reference. Credit goes to Bon Bon for bringing this to my attention.
My mind is blown.

8 years later(almost) what the fuck happened 'merica?

Ok. Sorry. I know..... I know. I have the attention span of a fucking Adderal addicted teenager. I guess you can say i just got bored with it. But with help from my old friend Bon, I decided to give it another go. You know, just like fucking your best friend, feeling kinda weird about it, then not talk for a minute, but then fuck her again just to see if it sticks this time or not.

So Blog World? My penis(theoretical) is in you.

Seriously though, what the fuck happened America? I was all like "WOOOO BARAK OBAMA!!!" now I'm like, " eh, Obama." But can I really complain? Really? Can I? If someone was better 4 years ago, we would have voted that person in, but all we have ad to choose from, is Obama, or some fucking religious fuck bag worrying about where dudes penises go when they die. So Obama has been the one. Not THE ONE. He ain't no Neo, yo. He's just the one guy who doesn't suck as bad as the others. I'm just looking forward to voting season later when we have a fresh start with both sides, and not just Obama as default. I really hope there is someone who can try to mend the fences of our respected yards that both have some heavy explaining to the H.O.A. as to why they can't stop shitting all over it.
